About us
We are
a family of five husband john ,eldest son John Walter, eldest daughter Kerry
and youngest daughter Tammy Joanne,Singleton and last but not least myself
Sandra Christine, all my offspring now have children of thair own,and true
to form we spoil them worse than ever,
John walter and partner Vickie have just had twin girls born early and weighing
in at four lbs,Elisha and Kiarna! it is a mouth full but names these days
are so exotiC all are doing well and babies are gorgeous,
Kerry has a blond haired blue eyed boy Harry James he loves his nanna, well
he has good taste, he was born on independance day,the fourth of july 20002'
Tammy has the moste adorable little girl ever Yasmin Georgia born 16/6 /02
she had big brown eyes not a family trait as we all have blue, and the prettiest
of faces, she is so gorgeous we just can not belive our luck, she is her grandads
shaddow, and just adores her the poor missguided treasure,
As for I have a very closeness to my
big sister Dorothy we are solemates and very close, she lives in a beautifull
little bungallow right below the Malvern hills in Worcestershire handy for
a bed the day before the parent club ch show and an excuse to taste her cooking
,she should have been a chef, as long as it isnt a naked one oh no .
Then theres my big brother Walter Scarah the Lord Mayor of Looe in Cornwall
he is my hero, I love him with all my being and always will. he is my big
stiff (this is what our mum called him in fun) if you read this Wall ,love
you tons and tonsxx
as a family we have always been very close, loveing one another with a ferocity.
for want of a better word.
We have always had our animals around us as far back as I can remember, as
a child I used to dream of owning a pony, this was what I woke up in the morning
to and fell asleep dreaming of every evening, although we could well have
afforded to have one my mother and father did not have the enthusiasm or inclination
of ever getting me one, so untill i discovered Paul Mcartney there was many
a night I cried myself to sleep, for the pain of wanting my own little pony,
then the beatles came along and for some years I was happy to shelve the dream,
I say for a while.
I married had my three babies and moved
house further out of town to the outskirts of Hull.this was the right place
to live a dream through my children, I booked riding lessons at our local
riding school, we all trooped along and there it happend ! they had a game
for the skilled, it was called HIGH BALL! they had a large arena with goals
at each end , there was a ball but not a usual one it was enormous and filled
with hellium but it stayed on the ground unless you thumped it and then it
flew just off the ground!
The owner Martin Stokes had bought around eight polo type ponies and fed them
on corn a diet that made them very hypo and on their toes and very unpredictable,
but they were all in superb condition. We decided to give it a go and what
a experiance we flew around this arena like the wind, the object bieing to
score goals on horseback by any means possible!
I never knew young girls could be so underhanded fouls were the norm, and so
enthusiastic they spared nothing to get the goal for their side needless to
say John and I did not play for long.we were outskilled, Hacking out was our
forte.
Kerry she was a different kettle of fish she outrode the best, scored every goal for the side who fought to have her that week.and loved it all like a passion, oh how proud was I. Soon they held jymkahnas and this was the door she went through and shone at she had an affinity with horses and they with her it wasn't long before she talked my mum and I to get her a pony to show jump.she went on for some years winning trophies we had several ponies/horses Kerry breaking youngsters and riding them on, did all conected with the horse sport,Kerry went to Bishop Burton College of Ag/ 'to attain her B.H.S.A.I.she went on to work for the racing stables in Newmarket she rode for The Haslem stables and for a time rode for sir Mark Prescott's she missed her horses so much she eventually had enough and came home I was so glad.
Tammy followed in Kerrys footsteps doing
all the things her big sister had and equally as good, although I must say
not as competitively, she would win along with the best, but to her it was
fun, to Kerry first place was all.
Tammy went also to Bishop Burton but as by this time dogs had become a passion
too and when we were not show jumping or hunter trialling we were out showing
our beloved Cavalier King Charles spaniel, so she naturally went for grooming
and animal care and managemen, she passed with flying colours'but you would
never guess has never held a brush to any of our dogs charming
.
We started to show our dogs we had had cocker spaniels before we had the cavaliers,my
sister Dorothy Stephenson had had the breed since just after the war.but only
bred lightly and never showed her dogs herself but was an avid watcher and
grew to love mixing with like minded folk and breed to inprove as time passed
it was she who gave me my first two cavaliers ,the first an alansmere bitch
daughter of the famous springtide then came my tri waldor tammarind she was
hommerbrent bred and unfortunately grew far too big to show but she had a
couple of litters which were an inprovement.and that was around twenty or
so yeasrs ago we were well and truly hooked and went on to breed from better
lines and now have three A.K.C.champions and one japanese champion.
A.K.C.Chanpion celxo eclipse
A.K.C.Champion celxo elation
A.K.C.Champion celxo royal crystal
A.K.C.Champion celxo edward for Drewsankie
Japanise Champion celxo Double Take.
It has taken quite some effort but we now feel we are getting quality within
our breeding always with health to the fore a most important feature in our
breeding.I have recently taken the Kennel Club Judgeing exam and am pleased
to report i have passed it.
and am releaved as i have been judgeing for a couple of years now with three
shows to judge coming up at least i have it in writing i am qualified to do
so to all that have taken the time to read through this biogrophy well done.
I dare say a cup of tea must sureley now be in order I certainly need one
so here I am signing off and wishing you would be shower's good fortune and
best of health
I also judge King Charles spanials on
the B List i have taken the tests with the k c for conformation and movement
And the Requirements of a show dog judge .and passed those.
'more to do 'i am going to do some more to get them under my belt!
